What Is the Triple Squeeze™?
The Triple Squeeze™ is Strategy Works Consulting’s framework for understanding three pressures affecting organizations simultaneously: Economic Pressure, AI Disruption, and Sustainability Pressure. Individually, none of these forces is new. What has changed is their convergence — and the speed and complexity of the decisions leadership teams must make as a result.
At Strategy Works Consulting, Sustainability has two dimensions. Internal sustainability focuses on the health and resilience of the organization — its leaders, workforce, capabilities, and ability to continue performing and adapting under pressure. External sustainability addresses the organization’s environmental impact and broader responsibilities. SWC’s work focuses primarily on internal sustainability — the oxygen-mask principle: strengthening the health and capability of the organization so it can perform, endure, and contribute effectively to the world around it.
